Schedule: Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts

Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult oncology patients in an inpatient setting. This role involves comprehensive patient assessments, coordination of care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and implementation of evidence-based nursing interventions, particularly for patients with complex oncologic conditions.
Evaluate patients and collaborate with physicians to deliver appropriate patient care
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments
Identify patient needs and prioritize care using clinical judgment and nursing frameworks
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care assignments
Document patient care accurately in accordance with standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
Advocate for evidence-based care standards and support adoption of innovative practices
Provide patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models
Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity and quality of care
Float to appropriate units within scope of competency as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum 2 years of recent acute adult oncology experience in an inpatient setting
Experience caring for patients with leukemia and lymphoma
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Active State Registered Nurse (RN) license or approved multi-state compact license
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certification (ONS)
Telemetry experience
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
