Desired Location: Florida (Onsite)
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs technical imaging procedures using ionizing radiation to assist in the detection and diagnosis of disease. This role is responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and ensuring accurate image processing and documentation within the PACS system, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Operate and regulate CT imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images
Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy to perform head, body, musculoskeletal, spine, and chest imaging
Process, review, and organize images within PACS
Ensure radiation safety standards and patient care guidelines are followed at all times
Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow
Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology required
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging concepts
Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
Acute care experience not required for hospital-based roles
Acute care experience required for Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) opportunities
Active Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist License
Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
Registered Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
