Shift: Night Shift | 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Pay Rate: $55 – $60 per hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg to deliver high-quality patient care in acute and post-acute care environments. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support safe and positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

  • Provide direct bedside nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative patients

  • Safely administer and document medications in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

  • Perform clinical procedures including dressing changes, IV initiation, and catheter insertion

  • Monitor and manage medical equipment and patient responses to treatment

  • Accurately measure, interpret, and document vital signs and clinical changes

  • Identify and promptly report changes in patient condition or adverse reactions

  • Collaborate with care teams on discharge planning and continuity of care

  • Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and post-discharge care

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation

  • Adhere to established nursing standards, policies, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • Acute Care: Minimum of two (2) years of recent Med/Surg experience in a large acute care hospital
    OR

  • Post-Acute Care: Minimum of two (2) years of recent Med/Surg experience in a post-acute or acute care setting

  • Strong physical assessment and clinical decision-making skills

  • Proficiency in medication administration

  • Experience with wound care and infection prevention practices

  • IV therapy experience

  • Knowledge of post-operative nursing care

  • Ability to provide clear and effective patient and family education

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

  • BLS certification required (additional certifications preferred)
