Shift: Days Only (7a-7p)
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care team. The RN will provide close monitoring and frequent assessments of cardiovascular patients, making independent clinical decisions and managing treatment autonomously. This role requires strong collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.
Serve as patient and family advocate, maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and procedures.
Provide high-acuity care with attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, efficient, and effective care.
Experience: 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) acute care experience in ER, ICU, or CVICU. PCU/IMCU experience considered if ≥2 years.
Licensure: Florida RN license or multistate RN license; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida RN license after relocation.
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required within 6 months of hire.
CCRN preferred; must be obtained within 2 years.
NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days of hire.
Education: BSN preferred.
