Role Overview

The Program Manager will act as a key connector across multiple teams, driving alignment, collaboration, and consistent execution of complex initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, consensus-building abilities, and the skill to foster a “nudge” environment that encourages adoption of new practices while maintaining momentum toward shared goals.


Key Responsibilities

Modernization & Automation Initiatives

  • Lead projects focused on simplifying and automating complex operational processes.

  • Integrate AI and automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Collaboration & Consensus Building

  • Facilitate cross-functional and cross-division communication and decision-making.

  • Build trust and alignment among diverse stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.

Change Enablement (“Nudge” Environment)

  • Apply behavioral strategies to encourage adoption of new processes and tools.

  • Promote accountability and continuous improvement across teams.

Program & Project Planning

  • Develop clear, actionable program plans with defined milestones and deliverables.

  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and adjust strategies to meet timelines and quality goals.

Measurement, Reporting & Quality

  • Track success metrics such as stakeholder satisfaction, cycle time reduction, and compliance.

  • Prepare regular status updates and outcome reports for senior leadership.

  • Recommend improvements based on performance insights and lessons learned.


Critical Job Functions

Cross-Divisional Program Leadership

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of AI and automation initiatives spanning multiple business units.

  • Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and operational priorities across divisions.

Standardization & Process Improvement

  • Establish and promote consistent project management standards, including charters, schedules, risk logs, and reporting templates.

  • Conduct process analyses to identify automation and efficiency opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a liaison among IT, operations, strategy, and other stakeholders.

  • Develop adoption and change strategies to ensure effective rollout of new tools and processes.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure projects comply with data governance, security, and ethical AI standards.

Reporting & Accountability

  • Deliver transparent program updates to executive leadership, highlighting status, risks, and outcomes.

  • Maintain accountability for delivering results on time and with quality.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Oversee and mentor interns and early-career professionals, supporting technical and professional development.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of IT program management experience.

  • Proven success managing large, complex programs with multi-year budgets of $10M or more.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience producing clear project documentation.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Visio.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and facilitate discussions.

  • Experience with AI, automation tools, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).

  • Strong command of PMO standards, stage-gate reviews, and executive-level reporting.

  • Ability to translate organizational strategy into actionable, executable program plans.

  • Skilled at presenting complex technical concepts in clear, business-focused language.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience communicating directly with senior leaders and executives.

  • Strong negotiation and influence skills across IT, business, and external partners.

  • Comfort working in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.

  • Experience with data-driven reporting, KPI development, and executive dashboards.

  • Familiarity with dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Experience supporting C-suite or executive sponsors.
