Shift: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 3:15 PM
Assignment Length: 34 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking SPED ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) Teacher for an exciting job in Sterling, VA.
Deliver direct ECSE instruction to preschool-aged students across disability categories
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with IDEA and state regulations
Design play-based and structured learning activities supporting early academic, communication, social-emotional, motor, and self-help skills
Provide instruction in individual, small-group, and inclusive preschool settings
Collect and document data to track progress toward IEP goals
Collaborate with preschool staff, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and eligibility meetings
Implement positive behavior supports and age-appropriate classroom management strategies
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support strategies
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education or Special Education
Active or eligible Virginia ECSE teaching license or appropriate endorsement
Experience working with young children with disabilities
Strong knowledge of early childhood development, IDEA, and IEP processes
Ability to deliver differentiated, developmentally appropriate instruction
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Prior ECSE teaching experience in school-based or early childhood settings
Experience supporting children with developmental delays, ASD, or speech/language needs
Familiarity with inclusive preschool models and collaborative teaching
Experience with data-driven and play-based instructional approaches
