A skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an evening-shift contract assignment. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and effective collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care environment
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Assess resident conditions and report changes promptly to providers and care teams
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record
Supervise and support nursing assistants and ancillary staff during assigned shifts
Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and quality standards
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Active New York State RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a nursing home or skilled nursing facility
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work evening shifts consistently
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
