Schedule: No Weekends
Shifts Available:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Compensation & Incentives

Hourly Pay Range (based on ER leadership experience):

  • Minimum: $42.55/hr

  • Midpoint: $50.29/hr

  • Maximum: $58.03/hr

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Up to $1,500

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN Manager – Emergency Room to provide leadership oversight for a high-acuity Emergency Department in Salem, Virginia, including both a main ED and a free-standing emergency facility.

This role is ideal for a proven emergency services leader with strong operational, clinical, and people-management expertise who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Virginia RN license or eligible compact license

  • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (required)

  • BSN preferred or active enrollment in a BSN program

  • Emergency Room management experience (required)

  • BLS (AHA) – required

  • TNCC – required

  • ACLS – required within 1 year of hire

  • PALS – required within 1 year of hire

  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage high-volume, high-acuity emergency services

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 operational leadership of the Emergency Department in the absence of the Director

  • Ensure appropriate staffing, resource utilization, and patient flow based on acuity and volume

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies, procedures, and standards

  • Lead interviewing, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations

  • Ensure staff compliance with licensure, competencies, and required education

  • Support orientation of new hires, students, and volunteers

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote efficient, high-quality patient care

  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and clinical excellence
