Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Tele Float)
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Pay Range: $45–$52/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Telemetry Float team for a 13-week contract assignment. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience and the ability to float across multiple telemetry units. The RN will care for patients with complex cardiovascular and neurological conditions, demonstrating strong clinical judgment, rhythm interpretation skills, and proficiency in Epic documentation.
Float between telemetry units and deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
Accurately interpret and identify cardiac rhythms, meeting hospital proctored testing requirements
Administer medications, including critical drips, and monitor patient responses
Assess and manage patients with CVA and other acute neurological conditions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
Document patient care accurately and timely using the Epic EMR system
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
Active New York State RN license (must be in hand)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience
Proven cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
Epic charting experience required
Experience with telemetry patient populations, including arrhythmia monitoring
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
Critical drip management
CVA (stroke) patient care experience
