Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer
Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Duration: 14 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week | 8 hours/day | 5 days/week
Schedule: Evening Shift | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Pay: Local Pay: $60/hr | Traveler Pay: $70/hr
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer to perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards while supporting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general radiographic imaging procedures following established protocols
Position patients accurately to obtain diagnostic-quality images
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and radiation protection
Review images for quality and diagnostic accuracy
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care
Follow hospital policies, safety guidelines, and professional standards
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer
Education:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program (including Military Training, if applicable)
Required Certifications & Licensure:
ARRT certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist
Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license
Preferred Certifications:
BLS certification
