Job Title: RN – Nurse Educator

Location: Brooklyn, NY 

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 40 Hours per Week

• 8 Hours per Day

• 5 Days per Week

Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Compensation: Up to $2,600 per week

Position Summary

The RN – Nurse Educator provides clinical education, mentorship, and professional development support to nursing staff within an acute care setting. This role leverages strong clinical expertise, particularly in Labor & Delivery and Medical-Surgical nursing, to promote best practices, clinical competency, and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate, mentor, and support nursing staff through clinical instruction and guidance

• Apply clinical expertise to reinforce evidence-based practices and patient care standards

• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and clinical protocols

• Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure staff competency and compliance with regulatory standards

• Support onboarding, training, and continuing education initiatives

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support unit operations and clinical excellence

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience

• Strong overall clinical background and teaching aptitude

Education & Licensure Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program

• Active New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification through NYSED

• AHA BLS Certification
