Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Interventional
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Pay Rate: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality radiographic and interventional imaging procedures under the supervision of licensed radiologists. This role is essential in ensuring patient safety, image quality, and adherence to departmental standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Perform radiographic and interventional imaging procedures as ordered by physicians and radiologists
Prepare, position, and support patients throughout imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
Accurately position patients and select appropriate exposure factors to obtain optimal diagnostic images
Adhere to radiation safety principles and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report equipment issues promptly
Process and review images for quality and completeness
Enter and maintain accurate patient and exam data in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Follow departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance protocols
Ensure proper care, handling, and routine maintenance of imaging equipment
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license/registration or eligibility to obtain
Prior experience in interventional radiology preferred
Strong attention to detail, patient care skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
