Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11203
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule:
Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM
3 shifts per week (12.5 hours per shift)
37.5 hours per week
Every other weekend required
1-hour unpaid lunch per shift
Compensation:
Local Rate: $2,415 per week
Travel Rate: $2,794 per week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity medical team in Brooklyn, NY. This contract opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong cardiac monitoring experience who thrive in a fast-paced, night-shift environment. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team.
Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care, including continuous cardiac monitoring and patient assessments
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures
Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation
Collaborate with the Med/Surg-Telemetry team to ensure patient safety, stability, and recovery
Accurately document patient care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
Active New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
