  • Hourly Range: $39.57 – $53.34 (based on experience; up to 17+ years)

  • Sign-On Bonus: Case by case

Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Trauma Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity, patient-centered perioperative care in a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. The RN will support emergent and complex trauma surgical procedures, applying strong clinical judgment and technical expertise in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The nurse will function as an essential member of the surgical and trauma team, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant care delivery throughout the perioperative continuum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned trauma surgical patients during designated shifts

  • Deliver perioperative nursing care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and trauma protocols

  • Prepare operating rooms for trauma cases, including equipment, instrumentation, and sterile field setup

  • Collaborate with trauma surgeons, anesthesiology, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and trauma center regulations

  • Respond rapidly and effectively to emergent trauma cases

  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to patient safety standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

  • Minimum 2 years of Trauma OR RN experience in an acute care hospital

  • Hands-on Trauma OR experience in a high-acuity surgical/trauma setting

Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA) – required within 30 days of start

  • ACLS (AHA) – required within 30 days of start
