Travel Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
Pay Rate: $45–$56/hour
Description:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse – Night Shift for an exciting job in Rochester, NY.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to patient condition changes
Utilize Rapid Response and Code Teams appropriately
Administer oxygen therapy and manage non-invasive airways
Maintain peripheral IV lines (PICC placement handled by dedicated PICC team)
Adhere to infection prevention and isolation precautions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care
Float to other units as needed
Required Qualifications:
Active RN License (NY or Compact)
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
EPIC experience required
BLS Certification (AHA)
Competency in:
IV insertion and peripheral line management
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Rapid Response and Code Team utilization
Oxygen delivery systems (nasal cannula, oxygen tanks)
Non-invasive airway management
Isolation precautions
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Charge Nurse experience
Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
