Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Schedule: 3 days/week | 11.5 hours/day
Total Hours: 34.5 hours/week
Pay Rate: $65 – $70 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration as required
Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation when applicable
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery or Maternal–Child Health experience
Minimum of 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification through NYSED
AHA BLS certification
AHA ACLS certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
