Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room
Location: Hyannis, MA
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Rate: $75 – $81 per hour

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital policies

  • Administer and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments

  • Perform ongoing patient assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation throughout admission and discharge

  • Develop and communicate individualized plans of care with interdisciplinary teams

  • Demonstrate proficiency in emergency nursing skills, including IV therapy, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring

  • Serve as a charge nurse when assigned and act as a clinical resource for staff education and orientation

  • Utilize computerized nursing and clinical information systems effectively

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and required education programs

  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control policies, and confidentiality requirements

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare team members

  • Complete additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience

  • Minimum 1 year of ER travel nursing experience

  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license

  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current and maintained)

  • Strong skills in IV starts, IV medication administration, ventilator care, and cardiac telemetry

  • Successful completion of required pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • De-escalation certification

  • TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications
