"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support hospital pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. The ideal candidate will assist with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations. This role requires flexibility to rotate assignments, shifts, and satellite locations based on departmental needs.
Assist pharmacists with the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications
Receive, return, deliver, and stock medications, medication carts, and pharmacy supplies throughout hospital units
Rotate assignments, tours, shifts, and satellite locations as operational needs require
Operate pharmacy-related equipment and assist with troubleshooting automated dispensing systems
Maintain accurate documentation, inventory control, and medication records
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and hospital pharmacy policies
Perform all duties with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency within required timeframes
Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
Proven ability to work accurately in a fast-paced hospital environment
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
Pharmacy dispensing experience
Sterile processing experience
IV room experience
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
