Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Contract Duration: 7 Weeks
Schedule:
40 hours per week
5 days per week
8-hour shifts (schedule may vary)
Pay Rate: $28/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Pharmacy Technician for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications in accordance with established procedures
Rotate assignments, shifts, and locations as required by departmental needs
Accurately receive, return, and deliver medications, medication carts, and supplies to designated hospital units
Maintain proper inventory control and medication storage standards
Operate pharmacy-related equipment and automated dispensing systems
Troubleshoot automated dispensing systems as needed
Perform all duties with strong attention to detail and within defined timeframes
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional pharmacy standards
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Pharmacy dispensing experience
Sterile processing experience
IV room experience
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Required Certification & Licensure:
Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Primary Source Verification of NYSED license and registration
