Location: Flagstaff, Arizona

Pay: $60 – $63/hour

Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Quality Assurance Nurse (RN) for an exciting job in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday

  • Shift options: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

  • Occasional weekends may be required

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona

  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Infection Preventionist Certification required

  • In-state travel with a valid Arizona Driver’s License

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and facility practices.

  • Conduct audits, interviews, and observations to monitor compliance across all departments.

  • Review monthly reports and develop performance improvement projects (PIPs) as needed.

  • Prepare reports, statistical analyses, and data summaries related to quality assurance and facility performance.

  • Assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans for identified deficiencies.

  • Monitor regulatory compliance and investigate incidents of non-compliance.

  • Coordinate internal Quality Assurance and Infection Control Committee meetings.

Staff Education & Training:

  • Identify training needs and develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for staff.

  • Assess training effectiveness and maintain accurate documentation of staff competencies.

Infection Prevention:

  • Serve as the facility’s Infection Preventionist.

  • Track and trend infections using established criteria.

  • Conduct daily surveillance rounds to ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols.

  • Stay current with CMS and CDC guidance and attend ongoing educational opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of management principles, quality assurance, nursing home regulations, and adult learning methods.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to analyze clinical and operational data to drive improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to develop, implement, and coordinate staff training programs.
