 Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) 

Location: St. Louis, MO 63112 
Contract Length: 5 Months 

A behavioral health facility is seeking Psychiatric RNs to provide inpatient mental health care. Nurses will work either day or night 12-hour shifts and support patients requiring acute psychiatric or correctional mental health services. 

Schedule: 

• Days: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM 

• Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM 

• 12-hour shifts with a 30-minute break 

Requirements: 

• At least 1 year of psychiatric or correctional RN experience 

• Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience 

• Active Missouri RN license 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform mental health assessments and ongoing evaluations 

• Administer psychotropic medications safely 

• Maintain patient safety and manage behavioral crises 

• Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques 

• Document care in compliance with mental health standards
