"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time contract assignments at a state-operated forensic treatment facility in St. Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing psychiatric and forensic nursing care in a secure treatment environment across two campuses (North and South). The ideal candidate is clinically strong, safety-focused, and comfortable working with forensic and behavioral health populations.
Number of Openings: 24 RNs
11 Day Shift
13 Night Shift
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Schedule: Alternating 36 and 48 hours per week
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (30-minute break)
Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (30-minute break)
Contract Term: Initial contract with opportunity for renewal
Active Missouri RN license (current and in good standing)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a psychiatric, behavioral health, or correctional setting
Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule
Comfortable working in a secure forensic treatment environment
Deliver direct nursing care to adult forensic psychiatric patients in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor clinical responses and safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support treatment plans and crisis interventions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Adhere strictly to all safety, security, and compliance protocols
