Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – Vascular
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 4×10-Hour Shifts
Hours: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Schedule: Friday – Monday
Pay Rate: $50 – $59 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist – Vascular to join a busy diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality vascular and diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently while maintaining excellent patient care standards and clear communication with the clinical team.
Independently perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations
Obtain, review, and document relevant patient medical history prior to procedures
Accurately identify normal and abnormal anatomical and pathological findings
Communicate exam results and preliminary observations to interpreting radiologists
Manage daily workflow within the sonography lab, including patient scheduling
Perform routine equipment maintenance, quality assurance, and safety checks
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout all procedures
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with departmental protocols
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (CHEA/USDOE recognized)
RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/GYN required
Minimum 1 year of professional ultrasound experience
Strong ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
