Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Location: Bronx, NY
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 Days per Week
Hours per Week: 34.5
Pay Rate:
$85 to $88/hour (Traveler)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry for a night-shift assignment in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience and demonstrate confidence in managing complex patient care during overnight shifts.
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
2 years of experience assisting with conscious sedation
Ability to work independently in a high-acuity hospital setting
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Active New York State RN License
Primary source verification of RN license through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
AHA BLS Certification (required)
AHA ACLS Certification (required)
Provide direct patient care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and IV therapies per provider orders
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as needed
Assist with conscious sedation procedures when applicable
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality standards
