Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Shift Length: 12-hour shifts

A psychiatric care facility in St. Louis, MO is seeking experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurses to support inpatient psychiatric and/or correctional services. This role requires strong clinical judgment, crisis management skills, and prior travel nursing experience.
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a psychiatric or correctional setting
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a traveling RN capacity
Valid Missouri RN License required
Assess patients’ mental health status and monitor behavioral and emotional changes
Administer psychiatric medications and monitor for therapeutic effectiveness and adverse reactions
Ensure patient safety through close observation and crisis intervention techniques
Utilize therapeutic communication and de-escalation strategies
Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary care teams
Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with psychiatric and mental health regulations.
