Travel (50+ miles): $2,580 – $2,630 per week
Local (within 50 miles): $2,160 per week
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care in alignment with professional nursing standards.
Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments
Initiate assessments based on patient conditions, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
Manage and coordinate patient care
Document care in accordance with standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support adoption of innovations in care delivery
Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum 3+ years of Mother Baby nursing experience
Must have experience caring for newborns
Required Hard Skills:
BSN
NRP
ACLS
Advanced Fetal Monitoring / RELIAS
Preferred Experience: 3 years
BLS (AHA)
NRP
Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact License.
