"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced and business-focused Lead MDM Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of a Client Master Data Management (MDM) platform supporting Institutional and Wealth Management channels. This role will be responsible for managing high-quality master data for organizations and associated contacts, enabling accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and scalable business operations.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in MDM architecture and delivery, strong knowledge of asset and wealth management distribution, and a hands-on approach to modern cloud-based data engineering solutions.
Lead the design and delivery of a Client Master MDM solution supporting institutional and wealth management businesses.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and product owners to define master data standards, governance models, and operational processes.
Analyze master data to identify trends and insights that improve business processes and decision-making.
Provide technical leadership and strategic oversight for MDM initiatives and delivery teams.
Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Optimize data pipelines and MDM integrations to meet enterprise performance and availability standards.
Apply MDM best practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across platforms.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for technology and business partners.
Maintain high standards for solution quality in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
10+ years of experience in Master Data Management, data engineering, or enterprise data architecture.
Strong hands-on experience with MDM principles, architectures, and best practices.
Proven operational experience working with data stewards and product owners.
Experience developing and maintaining MDM platforms; Semarchy MDM experience is highly preferred (comparable MDM tools considered).
Strong experience analyzing master data to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Hands-on experience building data pipelines in Azure cloud environments using:
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
DBT
Fivetran
Snowflake
Demonstrated experience optimizing data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Extensive experience with market and reference data in capital markets or investment management.
Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data quality, and data governance.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide teams and influence technical direction.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Experience supporting asset management or wealth management business domains.
Ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, high-accountability environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on long-term, scalable solutions.
