Job Title: Teacher Assistant
Location: Chantilly, VA
Duration: 22-week contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:50 AM – 3:40 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Pay Rate: Up to $24.50/hour
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support classroom instruction at a high school setting. The Teacher Assistant will collaborate with the lead teacher to provide academic and behavioral support to students, assist with classroom activities, and help maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities.
Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning environment.
Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources.
Supervise students during class activities, transitions, and assigned periods.
Assist with documentation, attendance, and classroom records as required.
Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff to support student success.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Prior experience working in a school or educational setting (preferred).
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with students and staff in a classroom environment.
