Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Travel Rate: $3,397 per week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Nurse Educator – Labor & Delivery (L&D) for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
Clinical Education
Design, deliver, and evaluate in-service education and training programs for Labor & Delivery and Medical/Surgical nursing staff
Ensure educational content reflects current evidence-based practices and clinical standards
Staff Development
Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and clinical guidance to support staff competency and professional growth
Promote best practices in maternal, neonatal, and acute care nursing
Competency Validation
Assess, document, and maintain nursing competencies in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
Clinical Resource
Act as a subject matter expert for complex L&D and Med/Surg clinical scenarios
Support bedside staff with clinical decision-making and best-practice guidance
Quality Improvement
Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational gaps
Implement targeted learning initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care quality
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) nursing experience (required)
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience (required)
Demonstrated experience in acute care hospital settings
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited program (required)
Master’s Degree in Nursing Education or related field (strongly preferred)
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Primary source license verification through NYSED
Current AHA BLS certification
