Candidates must live within a commutable distance
Must be comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio

This position is on a Pulmonary-focused Medical-Surgical unit providing care to adult patients with respiratory illnesses and complex medical conditions. The RN will deliver direct bedside care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments each shift
Monitor patient status and promptly report changes in condition
Administer medications and prescribed treatments
Accurately document patient care and outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and procedures
Advocate for patient safety and high-quality outcomes
Effectively manage time, resources, and care in a high nurse-to-patient ratio environment
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Experience accepted from the following settings:
Home Health
LTAC
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Outpatient Rehabilitation
Corrections
Acute care experience not required
Active Florida RN license or Compact Multistate RN license
Compact RNs must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating
Nursing Diploma or ASN required (BSN preferred)
BLS (AHA) required prior to start
NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of hire
Unit Size: 45 beds
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 7:1
On-Call: None
Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience):
2 years: $30.69/hr
5 years: $33.71/hr
Up to $43.20/hr (17+ years)
Shift Differentials:
Nights: $4.25/hr
Weekends: $3.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus:
$20,000 for Night Shift RNs
Relocation Assistance:
Available on a case-by-case basis
Typically $2,500 – $5,000
Must reside 100+ miles away
