Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions as directed
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques
Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely
Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the practicing state
Graduate of an accredited PTA program
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently under PT supervision
Commitment to patient-centered care and quality outcomes
Day shift schedule
