Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Architect & Analytics Lead to drive enterprise-level data architecture and advanced analytics initiatives. This role is critical to designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and decision-making across complex healthcare systems.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms, advanced analytics, and healthcare data integration. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and help shape long-term data strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust enterprise data architectures to support analytics and reporting initiatives

  • Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes

  • Create optimized database and table designs for efficient data storage and retrieval

  • Lead and manage advanced analytics initiatives and large-scale data projects

  • Design cloud-based data architecture solutions using Snowflake as the primary data platform

  • Architect and implement ETL pipelines using Informatica and other data integration tools

  • Integrate data from multiple sources including EHR systems, APIs, and real-time data streams

  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics

  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure data accessibility and usability

  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are followed

  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing (on-prem and cloud)

  • 10+ years of experience with business intelligence and big data solutions

  • 10+ years of experience leading and managing advanced analytics projects

  • Strong expertise with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Experience developing, deploying, and managing applications and data storage in cloud environments

  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational/non-relational database technologies

  • Experience with advanced analytics tools and strategies

  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and APIs

  • Experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines using Informatica

  • Experience with EHR integrations, healthcare APIs, and real-time streaming technologies

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences

  • Experience with healthcare data standards such as FHIR, HL7, and CCDA (highly desired)

  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, including security and deployment best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing and deploying big data applications

  • Hands-on expertise in Python and/or Java/Scala

  • Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices

  • Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem-to-cloud migration strategies

  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Strong understanding of information management principles, SDLC, and enterprise IT processes

  • Consulting and facilitation skills with a customer-focused mindset

  • Proactive leadership style with strong attention to detail

  • Architecture certifications such as:

    • TOGAF

    • Cloud Solution Architect (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

  • Experience with state or government eligibility systems
