We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Architect & Analytics Lead to drive enterprise-level data architecture and advanced analytics initiatives. This role is critical to designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and decision-making across complex healthcare systems.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms, advanced analytics, and healthcare data integration. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and help shape long-term data strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Design and implement robust enterprise data architectures to support analytics and reporting initiatives
Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes
Create optimized database and table designs for efficient data storage and retrieval
Lead and manage advanced analytics initiatives and large-scale data projects
Design cloud-based data architecture solutions using Snowflake as the primary data platform
Architect and implement ETL pipelines using Informatica and other data integration tools
Integrate data from multiple sources including EHR systems, APIs, and real-time data streams
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure data accessibility and usability
Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are followed
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing (on-prem and cloud)
10+ years of experience with business intelligence and big data solutions
10+ years of experience leading and managing advanced analytics projects
Strong expertise with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience developing, deploying, and managing applications and data storage in cloud environments
Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices
Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational/non-relational database technologies
Experience with advanced analytics tools and strategies
Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and APIs
Experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines using Informatica
Experience with EHR integrations, healthcare APIs, and real-time streaming technologies
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences
Experience with healthcare data standards such as FHIR, HL7, and CCDA (highly desired)
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, including security and deployment best practices
Experience implementing and deploying big data applications
Hands-on expertise in Python and/or Java/Scala
Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices
Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem-to-cloud migration strategies
Healthcare industry experience
Strong understanding of information management principles, SDLC, and enterprise IT processes
Consulting and facilitation skills with a customer-focused mindset
Proactive leadership style with strong attention to detail
Architecture certifications such as:
TOGAF
Cloud Solution Architect (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Experience with state or government eligibility systems
