Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 5 weeks
Schedule Requirement: Every other weekend
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care during overnight shifts in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment. The LPN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and continuity of care.
Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the supervising RN or physician
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Perform and document routine nursing assessments
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records
Respond to patient needs, emergencies, and call lights promptly
Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar clinical setting preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Night shift assignment
Contract role with guaranteed hours
Weekend rotation required (every other weekend)
Replacement assignment with immediate coverage needs
