Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time contract assignment in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing setting. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve maximum independence in daily living and functional activities.
Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, coordination, strength, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, techniques, and safety strategies
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient-centered care
Ensure compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and state regulations
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
30-minute meal break
Coverage may include weekends as part of a rotating schedule
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the practicing state
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
