We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional independence through personalized therapy interventions.
Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility training
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and mobility techniques
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient-centered care
