Shift: Day Shift

Location: North Adam, MA
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: Full-Time | 7 Days Availability
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment supporting patients across multiple nearby skilled nursing / rehabilitation locations. This is a split-position role, requiring flexibility to work between two assigned sites.

The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

A Quick Start Bonus is available for candidates who can begin promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide therapy for communication, voice, fluency, and dysphagia disorders

  • Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to ensure coordinated care

  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and facility policies

Schedule Details

  • Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • 30-minute meal break

  • Full-time schedule with availability across all days of the week

  • Split assignment between two nearby locations

Qualifications

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the practicing state

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred

  • Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills
