Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Shift: Day Shift

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: Full-time | 7 days/week availability
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an urgent contract assignment in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to support functional independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs

  • Provide therapy for speech, voice, fluency, communication, and dysphagia disorders

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home strategies

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations and progress notes

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care

  • Adhere to facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements

Schedule Details

  • Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • 30-minute meal break included

  • Availability across all days of the week

Qualifications

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the practicing state

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or medical settings preferred

  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
