Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders to improve overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
Provide therapy for communication, voice, fluency, and dysphagia disorders
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and strategies
Document evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory guidelines
Adjust treatment approaches based on patient progress and response to therapy
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
30-minute meal break included
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the practicing state
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or medical settings preferred
Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills
