Shift options: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
The Nuclear Medicine Technician is responsible for the daily operation of the Nuclear Medicine laboratory, including equipment testing, patient education, and performance of diagnostic procedures. This role ensures all procedures are completed in accordance with applicable policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality patient care.
Operate Nuclear Medicine laboratory equipment and perform routine quality control testing.
Educate patients and families on nuclear medicine procedures, preparation, and safety.
Perform nuclear medicine imaging and related procedures following established protocols.
Ensure compliance with all departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate documentation related to procedures and patient care.
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff to support efficient workflow.
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Education:
Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field (required)
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Certifications:
Certified Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
