Job Title: Dispatcher 

Job Type: Contract (3+ Months)

Location: Springdale, AR 100% Onsite

Shift & Schedule

  • Primary Shift: Wednesday–Friday, every other Saturday

  • Hours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

  • Schedule may vary to support nights, early mornings, and weekend coverage as needed

Training Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Training duration: Minimum of 3 weeks (onsite)

Pay Rate

  • $21 per hour


Job Summary

The Customer Service Associate (Dispatcher) serves as the primary point of contact between supply chain operations, external customers, and internal sales teams. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day communication, resolving service issues, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery coordination. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment, and flexibility to cover varying shifts as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between supply chain operations and assigned external customers

  • Monitor and analyze incoming communications (primarily email) and ensure timely resolution

  • Manage and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners

  • Utilize multiple dispatch, tracking, and scheduling systems to support operations and resolve issues

  • Maintain working knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and software applications

  • Understand external customer structures, processes, and service requirements

  • Identify cost-effective and efficient solutions to meet customer and operational needs

  • Proactively resolve issues impacting deliveries and service performance

  • Ensure accurate coordination and communication to support on-time product delivery


Systems & Tools

Experience using dispatch, transportation management, and scheduling systems preferred, including internal and external platforms used to support logistics and delivery operations.


Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field

Experience

  • 1–3 years of relevant business, customer service, logistics, or transportation experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to manage a high volume of email communication

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude with strong organizational and negotiation skills
