We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (Level 3) to provide project management consulting services for a portfolio of large, complex initiatives. This role will operate within an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) environment and support a multi-year legacy system replacement program. The Project Manager will oversee delivery activities, coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors, and ensure projects are executed in alignment with industry best practices.
Provide senior-level project management services for assigned initiatives within a complex project portfolio.
Operate within an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), following established governance, standards, and methodologies.
Manage projects related to a large-scale legacy system replacement program.
Work closely with third-party vendors and internal teams to coordinate deliverables and dependencies.
Perform vendor management, including coordination, oversight, and delegation of project tasks.
Apply PMI PMBOK® principles, project management concepts, and full project lifecycle methodologies across all initiatives.
Act as the primary point of contact for overall project status, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, communications, procurement, and stakeholder management.
Identify, assess, and recommend process improvement opportunities through standardization, automation, and business process reengineering (BPR).
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and executive-level communications.
Lead and guide cross-functional project teams while fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Proactively identify risks and issues and drive resolution strategies.
Prepare clear, concise, and actionable reports for senior leadership outlining progress, risks, challenges, and next steps.
Seek and integrate stakeholder feedback to continuously refine project deliverables.
8+ years of experience managing large-scale projects consisting of multiple sub-projects or workstreams.
5+ years of experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) as a Project Manager.
Senior-level experience developing strategies and execution plans for organizational and functional change initiatives.
Strong understanding of PMO practices, including project governance, resource management, and portfolio oversight.
Experience managing and coordinating system integration vendors and project teams of 15+ resources, including employees and consultants.
Demonstrated expertise managing all aspects of project control, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, communications, risks, procurement, and stakeholders.
Proven ability to independently lead project teams while promoting collaboration and accountability.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Project.
Experience using project management tools such as Planview or Sensei IQ (or similar).
Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
Experience with Planview PPM Pro.
Experience with Sensei IQ.
Prior experience working with pension administration systems.
Experience with multiple project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Hybrid, COTS, Iterative, and Waterfall.
