Compensation: Local: $1,908/Week | Travel: $2,400/Week
Job Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a contract opportunity in an acute care setting. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to deliver patient-centered care in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care, including IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Conduct patient assessments, identify priorities, and implement care plans based on medical diagnoses and patient needs.
Interpret EKGs and analyze cardiac rhythms.
Document care in accordance with practice standards and patient acuity.
Educate patients and families, advocating for evidence-based practices.
Apply specialized knowledge in inpatient hospice care when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
Licensure: Current NJ State RN License or Multi-State Compact License
Certifications:
BLS & ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS Stroke Scale Certification
Proof of 4 hours Stroke CEU
Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg nursing experience
Skills: Strong assessment, critical thinking, collaboration, and ability to remain composed under pressure
