Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 per year (based on experience)

Position Overview
The Director of Postpartum Services oversees the daily operations, clinical quality, and staffing of the Mother Baby units and Lactation Services. This role ensures a high standard of patient-centered care, operational efficiency, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred: Master’s Degree
Experience
Clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Mother Baby required
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience (Supervisor or higher) within Women’s Services
Experience overseeing large teams or departments preferred
Licensure & Certifications
Active RN License
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Strategic Leadership
Oversee efficient patient flow, volume forecasting, and admission/discharge planning
Manage financial stewardship, including budgeting and resource allocation
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure regulatory compliance
Clinical Quality
Advance patient safety and quality through evidence-based practices
Reduce variation in clinical practice to improve efficiency and outcomes
Monitor benchmarks and accreditations, pursuing opportunities to earn clinical designations
People & Culture
Lead and develop high-performing teams with accountability and transparency
Promote strong collaboration with NICU, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, and other departments
Drive initiatives to achieve exceptional patient experience results
