Physical Therapist – Travel Contract 

Location: Across NM State 

About the Role 

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to support rehabilitation needs across New Mexico. This position covers multiple facility types and requires a flexible, patient-focused clinician ready to work in a variety of environments. 

Core Duties 

• Assess patients with functional and mobility impairments 

• Develop goal-oriented treatment plans 

• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient instruction 

• Track and document clinical interventions 

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams 

• Update and educate patients/families on at-home care strategies 

• Travel as needed within New Mexico to assigned locations 

Qualifications 

• Active NM PT license (or eligibility) 

• PT degree (DPT/MSPT) 

• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience (outpatient, acute, SNF, HH, or inpatient rehab) 

• BLS required 

• Strong adaptability to new facilities and EMR systems 

Preferred 

• Multi-setting experience 

• Travel healthcare experience 

• Strong communicator and team collaborator 

• Bilingual candidates encouraged
