We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join an Adult Outpatient and Internal Medicine clinical team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in private physician office settings and adult outpatient facilities, along with strong clinical and administrative capabilities. This role supports high-quality patient care by assisting providers, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care, examinations, and procedures.
Collect and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant health information.
Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and sanitized.
Perform clinical tasks in accordance with CMA certification and clinic protocols.
Support patient scheduling, check-in processes, and general front-office workflow as needed.
Utilize EPIC EMR for data entry, record updates, and care coordination.
Provide clinical support to Internal Medicine and General Medicine providers in an adult outpatient setting.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality guidelines.
Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
Active CMA certification
Active BLS certification
Experience in an Adult Outpatient Facility
Experience in a Private Physician’s Office
Clinical experience in General Medicine and Internal Medicine
Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
