A School LVN/LPN is needed to support a local educational facility. This role will assist in providing routine and emergency nursing care to students within the school setting. This is not a 1:1 position; the nurse will support the general student population. Specific school placement and age group assignments will be confirmed upon onboarding.
Provide general nursing care, including medication administration and basic health assessments.
Address student health concerns, injuries, and illnesses during school hours.
Follow school health protocols and maintain accurate health-related documentation.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers as needed.
Support ongoing health education and wellness initiatives.
Ensure compliance with state and school health regulations.
Active California LVN License (required)
Previous school-based nursing experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently within a school environment
CPR/BLS certification (may be required depending on placement)
This assignment supports general school nursing duties; it is not a dedicated 1:1 student case.
School placement, age group, and specific responsibilities will be finalized closer to start date.
