Job Title: Registered Ultrasound Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Pay Rate: $45–$55/hr
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, support Radiologists, maintain equipment readiness, and ensure smooth daily operations within the imaging department.
Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures in accordance with department protocols
Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
Clean, maintain, and perform minor troubleshooting on ultrasound units
Maintain inventory and ensure all equipment is ready for use
Assist in onboarding and mentoring new ultrasound staff
Capture, store, and transfer images to PACS and physician workstations
Answer phones, schedule exams, and assist with patient transport coordination
Perform other related duties as assigned
Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
0–2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Proficient in Microsoft Office and imaging-related software
Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills
Able to troubleshoot equipment issues and make sound decisions
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Required:
Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
OR
High School Diploma/GED and completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program
ARDMS – Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
BLS Certification
