Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Ambulatory Surgery Department in the Bronx, NY. This role supports pre- and post-operative patient care in a dynamic outpatient clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care during pre- and post-surgical phases.

  • Support physicians and surgical teams during procedures.

  • Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor recovery.

  • Accurately document all care in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.

  • Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical or clinic-based setting.

  • Strong competency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous ambulatory or outpatient surgery experience.

Education & Licensure

  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) required.

  • License: Active, valid New York State RN License.

  • Certifications: AHA BLS required.
