Job Title: Interventional Radiographer
Location: Kissimmee, FL 32742
Schedule: Full-Time – Days (4x10s, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM)
On-Call Requirement:

  • Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM–7:00 AM

  • Saturday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Residency Requirement: Must live within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response standards

Compensation:

  • $32.50–$38.00/hr (up to 10 years of experience)

  • $39.00–$44.00/hr (11–20 years of experience)

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation: Considered on a case-by-case basis

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiographer specializing in vascular and interventional imaging procedures. This role supports complex diagnostic and therapeutic interventions across neurological, thoracic, abdominal, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, peripheral vascular, venous access, and other interventional specialties. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong imaging expertise, procedural proficiency, and the ability to perform confidently in a high-acuity environment serving critically to acutely ill adult and geriatric patients. The role is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience preferred; candidates with strong imaging background may be considered.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.

  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required.

  • ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CV) preferred.

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology; specialized IR training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex vascular and interventional imaging procedures following clinical protocols and safety guidelines.

  • Support diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including neurointerventional, peripheral vascular, and nonvascular specialty procedures.

  • Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile supplies for scheduled and emergent cases.

  • Ensure proper patient positioning, monitoring, and procedural support during interventions.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals for seamless procedural workflows.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, imaging details, and equipment usage.

  • Troubleshoot imaging equipment and ensure readiness, sterility, and proper function.

  • Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, including radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond within required timeframes.

  • Provide patient-centered care tailored to adult and geriatric populations.
