Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Float
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM • Every Other Weekend • Rotating Holidays (36 hours/week)
Pay Rate:
Local Pay: $2,070 Weekly
Travel Pay: $2,493 Weekly
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Float for an exciting job in Falmouth, MA.
Coordinate and deliver total nursing care for assigned patients.
Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practices in daily care delivery.
Safely and accurately administer medications.
Document patient care and interventions accurately within the EMR system.
Recognize and report signs of neglect or abuse per state regulations.
Care for postoperative, orthopedic, telemetry, and terminally ill patients.
Manage patients requiring IV therapy, chest drainage devices, and epidural analgesia.
Respond promptly and appropriately to urgent or emergent situations.
Use internal/external resources to support patient care needs.
Maintain required credentials, competencies, and mandatory training.
Apply age-specific knowledge to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
Follow all hospital policies, safety guidelines, and customer service standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
Current BLS certification.
Successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module.
Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam.
2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (required).
Phlebotomy and IV experience (required).
Travel nursing experience preferred.
